140,000 FANS ON THEIR WAY TO ANZ STADIUM FOR EPIC CONCERT WEEKEND

- Over 140,000 music fans will attend the two concerts at Stadium Australia;
- Catching public transport is strongly recommended;

SYDNEY is ready to host a mammoth weekend of entertainment with more than 140,000 fans on the way to Stadium Australia for back-to-back Queen + Adam Lambert and Fire Fight Australia concerts.
A bevvy of global entertainers will descend upon Olympic Park for the sold out shows on 15-16 February, with 24 acts alone part of the Fire Fight Australia concert for national bushfire relief on Sunday.

WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO GET TO THE CONCERT?
Great news for all fans: tickets to both concerts at Stadium Australia include return travel on public transport; including Sydney Trains, Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses and regular bus services, Ferry services and Light Rail services. Fans simply need to present their ticket or proof of purchase to a member of transport staff.
Car parks in Sydney Olympic Park are expected to fill both nights, so if you must drive it's vital you pre-book your parking here.
Fans are strongly encouraged to plan their trip in advance, arrive early and leave plenty of additional travel time.
TAXIS AND DEDICATED RIDE SHARE PICK-UP ZONE
The nearest Taxi Rank to Stadium Australia is Herb Elliott Avenue near the Pullman Hotel.
A ‘ride share’ pick up zone will be operating from P6 car park on the corner of Australia Ave and Murray Rose Ave.
General motorists picking up passengers after the concert are encouraged to organise a location outside of the precinct as road closures and large crowds will make access difficult.
To help avoid delays on entry, it is strongly recommend to arrive early.
Small bags and backpacks are permitted but should be no larger than than 20cm x 30cm (the size of an A4 piece of paper) for Queen, and no larger than 30cm x 40cm (the size of an A3 piece of paper) for Fire Fight Australia.
All bags will be checked by security.
There are no cloaking facilities for either event. Leave large bags and other prohibited items at home.
FOOD & DRINK
Stadium Australia has a variety of food and beverage outlets throughout the Stadium.
Concert goers who wish to bring their own food and drinks to the venue may do so, with the exception of alcoholic beverages . Glass, cans and metal containers are not permitted. Cooler bags that meet the size guidelines can be brought into the Stadium. Eskies are not permitted.
Water refill stations will be positioned on the arena and level 1. Free drinking water is available from all bars.
Reusable cups will be provided in all public areas for both events. Instead of single-use plastic cups being discarded into rubbish bins or littered in the seating bowls, concert goers will purchase their first drink in a re-usable cup and pay a one-off $2 fee for use of the cup. When subsequent drinks are purchased, the beverage is poured into a fresh new cup at no further charge and there are unlimited free exchanges. At the end of each concert fans can return their cup to the outlet for a $1.00 refund or donate that $1.00 to charity partners.
Official concert merchandise can be purchased from authorised sellers located within the Stadium and in the precinct.
WHAT'S ON IN OLYMPIC PARK
Event goers can enjoy live entertainment and an abundance of food trucks and pop-up stalls in the Olympic Park precinct prior to the concerts.
More than 20 cafes, bars and restaurants will be open both before AND after the events which will have you covered for a feed any time of day.

The Bureau is forecasting a pleasant weekend with the chance of early showers on Saturday with mostly clear conditions for the concerts on Saturday evening and Sunday. The shows will play rain or shine. The only exception would be severe weather which could impact the safety of artists and patrons.
WHAT TO BRING
- Concert tickets. Hold-on to your ticket if you are catching public transport home;
- Sunscreen and hat;
- Jacket or poncho – umbrellas are not permitted.
Medical crews will be present inside the Stadium to attend to any problems, no matter how big or small. Please see Stadium staff for assistance.
EFTPOS / ATM
EFTPOS and Credit Card facilities are available at most Food and Beverage outlets.
Limited ATMs are available in Sydney Olympic Park and the Stadium, so come prepared with enough cash if you need it. ATMs inside the Stadium are located on Level 1 adjacent to Aisles 101 & 124.
UNAUTHORISED TICKET SELLERS
Remember Ticketek is the ONLY authorised ticketing agent for these events. To ensure you don’t end up with invalid tickets, DO NOT buy them through any unauthorised re-sellers such as Viagogo, Ticketmaster Resale, Tickets, eBay, Gumtree, Tickets Australia, Ticket Merchant, Ticket Blaster, Ticket Bis, Queenoftickets, etc.
Stadium Australia has no obligation to honour tickets bought from any agent other than Ticketek.
SAFETY AND SECURITY AT ANZ STADIUM
Public safety is our number one priority at Stadium Australia.
The Stadium works closely with NSW Police and other authorities to identify risks at all events.
A high NSW Police and Security presence will be in place for the concerts, both inside Stadium Australia and throughout the Sydney Olympic Park precinct before, during and after the events.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and leave additional time for the security screening process when entering the Stadium. This process will include mandatory bag searches and personal checks.
